Life Gds.); Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 2 clasps, Cape Colony, Orange Free State (3167 T. Sjt: Mjr: A. M. Fyfe. S.A.C.) contact marks and pitting to first, this nearly very fine, the QSA good very fine (2) £500-£700

2 officers and 43 other ranks of the 2nd Life Guards served on the Nile Expedition with the Heavy Camel Regiment.

Note: A ‘later issue’ Egypt and Sudan Medal is known to this recipient, and was sold (as a single medal) in these rooms in March 2008.
