Medals with no location, Admiral Vernon, Commodore Brown and Sir Robert Walpole, 1741, a pinchbeck medal, unsigned, standing figures of Vernon and Brown shaking hands, crown in upper field, ship in lower field, rev. Devil striding into the mouth of Hell, leading Walpole by a halter, 38mm (Adams NLv 8-G; Betts 246; MI II, 561/191). Light scratches in centre of reverse, otherwise about extremely fine £200-£260
