Briot, crowned bust right wearing high crown and ruff, nb below, carolvs d g mag britan fran et hib rex, rev. donec pax reddita terris, arm issuing from clouds holding sword, 30mm, 10.45g (Platt I, p.118, type A; Jones 126; MI I, 243/10; E 106). Good very fine, attractively toned £400-£500
