Police Corps); Queen's South Africa 1899-1902, 6 clasps, Cape Colony, Tugela Heights, Orange Free State, Relief of Ladysmith, Laing's Nek, Belfast (744 Tpr: J. McDonald. S.A. Lt. The rolls confirm Trooper J. McDonald as a Trooper in the B.S.A. Police for the clasps 1896 and 1897. He is also shown on the rolls for 1896 of “F” Troop B.F.F. and M.M.P. His name also appears on a separate roll as having received the 1897 Medal.
