The Welsh Regiment Militia or Volunteer Battalions Officer’s Forage Cap 1881 - 1897, the 1880 pattern drooping peak forage cap complete with bullion embroidered cap badge being Prince of Wales’s plumes and motto, the latter on a ground of pale blue silk, the front peak enhanced with silver bullion lace (tarnished), internally complete with original sweat band and quilted silk lining, lacking narrow leather chin strap, slight moth damage to the bottom edge in two or three places otherwise good overall condition £250-350
