Military General Service 1793-1814, 4 clasps, Busaco, Salamanca, Pyrenees, Toulouse (Nichs. Braun, Drummer, 11th. Foot) minor edge bruising, good very fine £1800-2200

Nicholas Braun originally of the King’s German Legion, attested for the Hompesch Rifles Regiment on 26 September 1794, and served for two years as a Private and two as a Drummer, before he transferred to the 2nd Battalion, 60th Foot on 26 September 1798. He served with them as a Drummer for five years, before transferring to the 11th (North Devonshire) Regiment of Foot on 27 September 1803. He was discharged on 9 July 1816, after a total service of 21 years and 286 days.
