Provenance: Bt N.A. Clark February 2007.

The device of the Two Kings and Still is unique in the token series. Larwood (1866), commenting on this token, said that the sign “may have originated from the distillers' arms, the two wild men, serving as supporters, being refined into two kings, the garlands on their heads into crowns, and their clubs into sceptres”
