M.C. London Gazette 7 February 1918. ‘T./Capt. Francis Other Philpott, S. Wales Bord.’

Lieutenant Philpott, 2nd Battalion South Wales Borderers, was wounded at Scimitar Hill, Gallipoli, 21 August 1915.

Lieutenant Philpott’s full-size medals were presented by the family to the Regimental Museum of the South Wales Borderers and Monmouthshire Regiment in 1984. With letters relating to the donation.
