The 2nd/35th Foot formed part of General Colville’s Division situated on Wellington’s far right flank and took no part in the actual fighting. Medals to this regiment are, however, surprisingly scarce.

Isaac Bussey was born at Lewes, Sussex, and enlisted at Ipswich for the 2/35th Foot on 19 April 1805, aged 27 years, for unlimited service. He served a total of 14 years 6 days and was discharged to the Royal Hospital, Kilmainham, in the rank of Corporal, on 14 May 1817, being ‘aged and weakly’. Sold with copied discharge papers.
