Private John William Conquest, 1st Battalion Dorsetshire Regiment, entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 19 May 1915. When serving with the 6th Battalion, he was killed in action, France/Flanders on 16 May 1917, aged 22 years. He was buried in the Brown’s Copse Cemetery, Roeux, Pas de Calais. He was the son of Mrs Annie Harrow, of 6 Newton Villas, Andover Road, Ludgershall, Wiltshire. With copied m.i.c. and casualty details.
