William Joseph Fisher was born on Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire. A Boot Riveter by occupation, he attested for the Wiltshire Regiment at Devizes on 26 October 1887, aged 19 years, 10 months. With them he served in the East Indies, September 1895-November 1902. Awarded the L.S. & G.C. in 1906 with a Gratuity of £5. As a Serjeant in the 2nd Battalion Wiltshire Regiment, he was discharged at the termination of his limited period of engagement at Dublin on 25 October 1908. With copied service papers.

Arthur Keel was born in Salisbury, Wiltshire. A Labourer by occupation, he attested for the Wiltshire Regiment at Devizes on 30 September 1886, aged 18 years. With the regiment he served in the East Indies, September 1895-December 1902. Awarded the L.S. & G.C. in 1909 with a Gratuity of £5. As a Sergeant with the 3rd Battalion Wiltshire Regiment (Permanent Staff) he was discharged at Exeter on 17 May 1908. With copied service papers.
