Private B. D. Mountfort, “B” Squadron, Surrey Yeomanry, embarked for France on 18 January 1915. Later serving in Salonika, he was wounded at Kispeki on 5 November 1917 - this mentioned in the regimental history. Sold with original (damaged) card box of issue for the British War and Victory Medals, together with registered envelope and receipt.
