Alfred Paxton Jenn joined the Royal Flying Corps direct from an army appointment in June 1916, was advanced to Air Mechanic 1st Class in April 1917 and served out in France later that year, until invalided home with dysentery. Latterly he appears to have been employed in No. 95 Squadron, was advanced to Corporal (Mechanic) in the Royal Air Force and was demobilised in April 1920.
