Joseph Henry Skinner was born in Plymouth on 1 February 1874. A Painter by trade, he enlisted into the Sick Berth Branch of the Royal Navy on 26 September 1895. He attained the rank of Sick Berth Steward on 12 July 1907. Skinner was discharged due to tuberculosis on 4 July 1912. Sold with copied service papers.
