Private D. B. Meighan, Queen’s Own Royal Glasgow Yeomanry, entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 12 May 1915. Later served as Private 350593 in the Highland Light Infantry and was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in the 5th Battalion Gordon Highlanders on 29 May 1918.
