Catuvellauni, Cunobelin, Stater, Biga type, CAMVL in central panel, decorative border above and below, rev. two horses prancing left, pellet and leaf above, pellet beneath tail, [cvn]obelin and four-spoked wheel with star as hub below, 5.47g/10h (BMC 1769-71; VA 1910; S 280). About extremely fine with attractive colour and surfaces, an extremely rare variety of a very rare type £2,000-3,000
