Early Uninscribed issues, Stater, British C [Yarmouth type], devolved head of Apollo, rev. disjointed horse right, pellet rosette above, front leg split into windmill shape, trefoil of pellets in one quarter, bird’s head in another, zig-zag pattern below exergual line, 6.17g/5h (BMC 78ff; VA 1220; S 23). Struck in pale gold, about very fine, extremely rare; 13 specimens recorded, of which nine are in museums £2,000-2,500
