Lieutenant Arthur Dagnall Tylden-Patterson, an Old Etonian was killed in action in France and Flanders on 5 January 1915, whilst serving wth the 2nd Battalion, Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire Light Infantry. He is buried at Vielle-Chapelle New Military Cemetery, Lacouture.
