Henry Delamore Stride was born in Lavant, Chichester. An Engineer by occupation, he attested at Eastbourne on 24 February 1900, aged 21 years. Served in South Africa, 28 March 1900-24 June 1901. Discharged at Eastbourne on 1 July 1901. With copied service details.
