Forfar & Kincardine Artillery Militia, an extremely rare officers’ grenade plume holder in silver plate, the ball with applied mount, a crowned circle ‘Forfar & Kincardine Artillery’ with central cannon, circle of laurel sprays around, complete with holder and fasteners c1855-78, evidence that the grenade probably bore earlier mounts not affecting the facial appearance, otherwise very good condition £300-350
