Roman Imperial Coinage, Valentinian I (364-375), Miliarensis, Trier, 367-75, d n valentini-[anvs p f avg], pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust right, rev. [virtvs] exercitvs, Emperor standing left in military attire, holding standard and shield, tr ps. in exergue, 3.47g/12h (Ghey 5, this coin; Hoxne 62; RIC IX p.19, 26(a)2; RSC 58b). A large fragment; dark patina with some roughness on reverse legend, good fine, rare £40–£50
