York Street Flax Spinning Co Ltd, established 1883, closed 1961. The firm processed flax, bleached and dyed both yarn and cloth at Muckamore, spun at their facility at 41 Henry street, Belfast, wove at the Brookfield factory on the Crumlin road and had a thread works in Lurgan. The company had offices in New York, Havana, Copenhagen and London
