61 officers and men of the Royal Navy were present at Abu Klea, of whom 28 had these three clasps.

Alfred Tabor was born in the Parish of St Giles, Northampton, on 13 October 1863, and joined the Royal Navy on 6 January 1880. He was serving in Monarch both at Alexandria and with the Nile Flotilla. He rose to become a Yeoman of Signals and afterwards transferred to the Newhaven Coast Guard, receiving his L.S. & G.C. medal in January 1892. Sold with copy service record.
