A German Second War Submarine Combat Clasp in Bronze.
A very good example of the Submarine Combat Clasp in bronze, 2nd model. This award, although appearing unworn, has been formed in a convex fashion by the awardee, a common occurrence amongst Kriegsmarine personnel more than any other arm of the service. The award has all of its original bronze finish, standard fluted pin, full compliment of the designer Peekhaus and the manufacturer Schwerin, Berlin on the reverse side, good condition £300-£400
