Private George Shelton Baker, 2nd Battalion Royal Berkshire Regiment, died on 9 April 1945, aged 35 years. He was buried in the Taukkyan War Cemetery, Burma. He was the son of George and Rose Shelton and the husband of Ellen Baker of Wellington, Shropshire. Sold with named condolence slip and card medal forwarding box addressed to ‘Mrs Baker, 45 New Church Rd., Wellington, Salop’.
