Craftsman Basil Fred Collins, Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, died as a prisoner-of-war of the Japanese on 27 September 1943, aged 26 years. He was buried in the Thanbyuzayat War Cemetery, Burma. Sold with a condolence slip named ‘the late No.7617624 B. F. Collins, REME’.
