P479 Lieutenant David Andrew Laws, A.C.M.F. “M” Special Unit, Australian Infantry, was killed in action in Madang Province, in northern Papua New Guinea, on 5 May 1943, aged 33 years. He was buried in Madang War Cemetery. Laws was the son of Thomas John and Laurence Elizabeth Laws and husband of Olga Lillian Laws of St. Lucia, Queensland. Sold with copied details; medals in original (damaged) card box with paper inserts.
