Stanley Laurie was born in Adelaide, South Australia. Serving as a Private in the 27th Battalion Australian Imperial Forces, he was killed in action on 26 March 1917, aged 21 years. Having no known grave his name is commemorated on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial. He was the son of Alexander and Ada Laurie of 2 Northcote Terrace, Gilberton, South Australia. Sold with some copied details.
