Thomas McCann was born in Eastwood, Renfrewshire and, living in Thornliebank, Glasgow, enlisted at Glasgow. Serving with the 15th Battalion Highland Light Infantry, he died of wounds on 9 April 1916, aged 24 years. The son of Charles and Jane McCann of 59 Harriet Street, Pollokshaws, Glasgow; he was buried in the Bouzincourt Communal Cemetery, Somme, France.
