India General Service 1854-95, 1 clasp, Burma 1887-89 (1704 Pte. S. Sullivan, 2d Bn. R. Muns. Fus.), jeweller’s mark to reverse, slight edge bruising, very fine £140-180

Simon Sullivan was born in Cork. A Groom by occupation, he attested for the Royal Munster Fusiliers on 31 August 1885, aged 19 years. With the regiment he served in India from 4 October 1887 to 20 April 1898, and was present with them in the Burma 1887-89 expedition. He was granted a free discharge after 12 years service on 23 April 1898. Sold with copied service papers.
