Sold with copy m.i.c. confirming that Francis A. Fitt first served in the French theatre of war with the Hertfordshire Regiment on 6 November 1914, subsequently transferring to the Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Regiment. He was entitled to the Silver War Badge and his m.i.c. further states ‘w & missing 31.7.17.’
