Portugese Military Order of Aviz London Gazette 7 October 1919.

Captain Raymond Waldron was commisioned into the Royal Field Artillery from the ranks of the 16th Lancers on 11 October 1915. He was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 July 1917 and Captain on 1 September 1917, before relinquishing his commission on 17 January 1918 on account of ill health caused by wounds.
