The gold presentation bracelet to Lieutenant-General M. T. Tokarzewski-Karaszewicz, Commander of the Polish Forces in the Middle East, late Commander of the Polish Underground Armies “S.Z.P.” (in German-occupied Poland) and “Z.W.Z.” (in Soviet-occupied Poland), comprising eight hinged links, four of them with the numbers of the Polish Brigades he commanded, namely ‘6’, ‘16’, ‘17’ and ‘18’, with four rectangular links inbetween, these with embossed Family Coat of Arms, Divisional Coat of Arms, Polish Coat of Arms and another unit Coat of Arms (a ‘6’ with a superimposed ‘M’), together with retaining link stamped ‘14 k’, the reverse of the central rectangular link engraved (in Polish), ‘Beloved Leader From Your Soldiers in the Lwow Division, Iraq, 11 May 1943’, 220mm. overall length, in excellent condition £1500-2000
