British Indian Cavalry Badges, 5th Bengal Cavalry a scarce, possibly pre-Mutiny, excavated horse harness badge, Guelphic crown over a title strap with central ‘V’, one fastener stud missing; 19th King George’s Own Lancers, a scarce cast gilt brass pouch badge, crown over ‘19’ over ‘GRI’ upon crossed lances, scroll at base ‘King George’s Own Lancers, four crew fasteners; another cast gilt pouch badge, ‘19’ upon crossed lancers with KC above, title scroll at base as before, four screw fasteners, these distorted, bottom lance shoes missing and the other distorted; Central India Horse, a pair of o/r bi-metal shoulder titles, one damaged; a large cast Indian silver Prince of Wales’s crest and motto pouch badge, good condition apart from defects stated (6) £70-90
