Volunteer Artillery Prize Medal, ‘Scotland’s Cup 1870’, a superb example in silver coloured metal and rich blue enamel, a large crowned oval strap bearing the motto of the Order of the Thistle, small panels to the sides with raised thistles, centrally upon a domed enamel ground three mounts ‘Scotland’s’ ‘Cup’ ‘1870’, the reverse engraved ‘Property of Forfar’ ‘Arty Vols’, original stout pin fastener, excellent condition £250-350
