Aberdeenshire Artillery Volunteers, a very fine and rare officer’s silver plated QVC helmet plate 1878-1901, Royal Arms with laurel top scroll and ‘Aberdeenshire Artillery Volunteers’ on the bottom; 1st Caithness Artillery Volunteers, a rare other ranks white metal QVC helmet plate 1878-1901, Royal Arms with ‘First’ top scroll and ‘Caithness Artillery Volunteers’ on the bottom, finial missing from the lion’s tail on the second item, otherwise very good overall condition (2) £350-400
