2nd Middlesex Artillery Volunteers, a fine and scarce officer’s silver plated QVC helmet plate 1878-1901, Royal Arms with blank top scroll and ‘Second Middlesex Artillery’ on the bottom; together with the corresponding QVC other ranks white metal version, this with laurel top scroll and the bottom as before; 1st London Artillery Volunteers, a scarce other ranks white metal QVC helmet plate 1878-1901, Royal Arms with ‘First’ top scroll and ‘London Artillery Volunteers’ on the bottom, small verdigris patch on the first item, otherwise very good overall condition (3) £380-420
