Three: Captain F. T. O’Meagher, Royal Irish Regiment, late Royal Dublin Fusiliers

Captain F. T. O’Meagher served as Instructor of Musketry with the 5th Battalion Royal Dublin Fusiliers, the rank effective from 19 June 1905. Early in the Great War he was Adjutant at the Depot, Royal Dublin Fusiliers, holding the rank of Temporary Captain, this effective from 9 November 1914. He served as a Captain in the 1st Garrison Battalion Royal Irish Regiment from its formation at Wellington Barracks, Dublin on 2 August 1915. The battalion was posted to Mudros, disembarking there on 25 September 1915. In October some officers and men were then sent to Sulva Bay.
