Three: W. G. Jory, Royal Navy

Crimea 1854-56, 2 clasps, Sebastopol, Azoff (Wm. G. Jory), jeweller’s marks (?) below Queen’s chin; China 1857-60, no clasp (Wm. G. Jory); Turkish Crimea 1855, British issue (Wm. G. Jory), plugged and fitted with scroll suspension, all three with privately engraved naming, fine and better (3) £160-200

William G. ‘Joly’ earned his Azoff clasp as Ship’s Steward aboard H.M.S. Beagle, from which ship he was discharged to Agamemnon. His Crimean war medal was sent to him aboard Amethyst in August 1857 whilst stationed off China.
