Strathclyde Regional Council Bravery Medal, gold (J. Brash, 25.11.76), hallmarks for Birmingham 1976, complete with gold brooch bar, in case of issue, extremely fine, scarce £250-300

The Strathclyde Regional Council Bravery Medal, in effect the ‘4th type’ of the Glasgow Bravery Medal, was introduced in 1975 following the reorganisation of the local government in Scotland. Manufactured by ‘J.W.B.’, it was issued in gold.
