British North Borneo Company Medal 1897-1916, 1 clasp, Punitive Expeditions, bronze issue (123 Lance Corporal Sang), 2nd type ribbon, good very fine £700-800

18 silver and 100 bronze ‘Punitive Expeditions’ medals were initially produced, of which 5 and 47 were awarded respectively. Supplied unnamed, some were then engraved locally. Bronze medals could be exchanged for silver in 1905/06.
