Egypt and Sudan 1882-89, 4 clasps, Alexandria 11th July, Tel-El-Kebir, The Nile 1884-85, Abu Klea (E. A. Swinnock, Lg. Sean. H.M.S. “Monarch”) pitting from star, otherwise nearly very fine and rare £800-1000

Only 21 Egypt medals issued to the Royal Navy and Royal Marines with four clasps, only two with this combination.

E. A. Swinnock is confirmed on the rolls for all four clasps, one of four officers and 55 ratings of the R.N. present at Abu Klea, where he served as Captain of the Fore Top.
