Indian Mutiny 1857-59, no clasp (Lieut. I. D. Greeme, 37th Regt.), with silver buckle on ribbon, good very fine £350-400

James Drummond Græme was born in Montserrat, West Indies on 2 June 1838. Commissioned an Ensign in the 37th Foot on 14 June 1855, he was promoted to Lieutenant on 31 July 1857. He served in Ceylon, November 1856 to October 1857, and in India from November 1857 to March 1861. Lieutenant Græme died on 3 August 1862. Sold with copied statement of services.
