Punjab 1848-49, 2 clasps, Chilianwala, Goojerat (Henry Mullen, 29th Foot) slight edge bruising, good very fine £500-600

Henry Mullen was born in Dublin and attested for service in the 29th Foot at Liverpool on 5 November 1844, aged 22 years. He served with the 29th Foot in the latter part of the First Sikh War and was present throughout the Second Sikh War. Mullen was present at the Passage of the Cheneb, 3/4 December 1848, the battle of Chilianwala - where he was severely wounded, 13 January 1849, and the battle of Goojerat, 21 February 1849. He was discharged on 11 October 1855 as unfit for further service. Sold with copied service papers.
