Private Arthur William Shepherd enlisted into the Surrey Yeomanry on 8 September 1914 and entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 3 April 1915. He was discharged as ‘mustered unfit’ on 26 December 1917 and awarded the Silver War Badge. Sold with copied m.i.c. and War Badge extract.
