Private William Renwick, Surrey Yeomanry, entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 27 March 1915. Later serving in Salonika, he was wounded in the left forearm during a mounted patrol near the ‘White House’ in the Struma Valley, 3 September 1916 - this mentioned in the War Diaries. Renwick later served in the East Riding of Yorkshire Yeomanry and the Machine Gun Corps. Sold with copied m.i.c. and War Diary extracts for the above.
