Percy Bartlett from Norbiton, serving with the Surrey Yeomanry, entered the Egypt theatre of war on 22 October 1915. Serving firstly with “C” Squadron Surrey Yeomanry and thence the 10th Battalion Queen’s Regiment, Bartlett was awarded the Military Medal for his bravery when with the latter unit. He was disembodied on 25 March 1919. Sold with copied m.i.c.
