Military General Service 1793-1814, 3 clasps, Corunna, Nivelle, Nive (J. Knight, 1st Foot Guards) good very fine £800-1000

James Knight was born in the Parish of Hicketton, Cambridgeshire. A Labourer by occupation, he enlisted into the 1st Foot Guards at Nottingham, for unlimited service, on 24 October 1799, aged 23 years. He was discharged on 28 February 1821. Clasps confirmed. Sold with copied discharge papers (name given as ‘Knights’) and notes.
