Shoeing Smith Edward James Rubick served with the Hotchkiss Detachment in the 2nd New Zealand Contingent. A farrier from Masterton, Wairarapa, he died at Hutt Valley on 15 June 1957. He is entitled to 4 clasps, Cape Colony, Orange Free State, Transvaal, South Africa 1901.
