Ex Glendining 29 October 1909.

Richard Poole was born in London and enlisted into the 4th Light Dragoons on 26 April 1830, a shoemaker by trade. He was admitted to hospital at Scutari on 31 January 1855, and invalided from there to England on 23 March 1855. He died at Chatham on 13 May 1856.
Honour the Light Brigade shows entitlement to the L.S. & G.C. medal but it is not possible to confirm that he rode in the charge at Balaklava.
